Dear supporters.
I just wanted to reach out to say that I've just heard from Unbound that I've so far sold 420 copies of the book, and 15 kindle editions. On top of your supporter copies! Not a bad start. I still have to pinch myself when I see the The Diary of Losing Dad in bookshops, as I did recently on a trip to Manchester.
If you haven't yet received your copy of the book, please reach out to me or email support@unbound.com because you will just need to confirm your address with Unbound.
A few other bits of news...
Griefcast
I am thrilled to be part of the latest series of Griefcast, which kicks off this week with an interview with Greg Wise. If you don't know the show, it is a wonderful warm hug of a podcast where the host Cariad Lloyd interviews people about someone they have lost. Do check it out and I'll of course let you know when my episode is due.

Amazon Reviews
I have a favour to ask. I have been so touched by your feedback and responses to the book. If you felt moved to, could I ask that you take a few minutes today to go onto Amazon and write a review? (Anyone can do this if they are a prime customer, have bought the book there, or have spent £40 on amazon in the last year.) Sharing your thoughts will really help boost the book's profile. As a token of thanks, I will send anyone who reviews the book a screenprint of my poem 'Love'. Just email me your postal address to thediaryoflosingdad@gmail.com and I will send it out to you.
Henley Literary Festival
I have also been confirmed to sit on a panel at Henley Literary Festival alongside Hussein Manawer on 2nd October. So perhaps I will see some of you there?
School Talks, In The Flesh Teas & Poetry Evening,
I will be in touch shortly to arrange all of the above, so watch this space.
Sending lots of love and thanks as always
Emily
