Do we protect our children too much? The image shows the sort of recurring nightmare I had a child with or without lullabies but you should see these Icelandic ones!

Auden translated one that has the word 'draugum' in it. I based my Drorghers on this: all the elements in The Book of Bera have some link to Norse beliefs, which I've researched for over four years. In my version, if someone's body doesn't have the proper rites (such as exiting a corpse door feet first) it will return as the walking dead.
Sofur thu svid thitt
Svartur i augum
Far i fulan pytt
Fullan af draugum
Sleep, you black-eyed pig.
Fall into a deep pit of ghosts.
