No Good Deed Reaches 88%

[Image was from e-bay, someone selling the diecast Corgi model of the car from The Man From Uncle. Corgi marketed the car under the name 'Thrush Buster', it must have been someone's last day working there]

88 is a fine number. The first rock and roll record was called Rocket 88. One tale has it that Jackie Brenston and His Delta Cats were really Ike Turner's Kings of Rhythm. It might be true. What is no great surprise is that the song is about a car. An Oldsmobile in this case. The only other thing I know about Oldsmobiles is that Ilya Kuryakin and Napoleon Solo drove around in one in The Man from UNCLE. If you were as old as I am you might have had a Corgi die-cast version which featured Solo shooting his pistol out of the passenger side window when you pressed a button on the roof.

So, yeah, 88 is a fine number but not as fine as 100, which is just 12% more. Do please feel free to convince another 30 or so people to back No Good Deed, that's under a third of a person each. I promise they won't regret it, unless you go all serial killer on them and dismember a person between three of you.
