Making the most of your garden

Having seen Jo's talk at Cheltenham on how to make the most of your garden (which was fabulous) I looked around mine this week. As you all know by now I am the 'hopeless gardener' but I am still quite proud of my own garden - this is due to the fact it is really very nice although a tad unkempt. I think my flowerbeds could do with some attention - I have described them as 'hairy' meaning there are too many long straggly bits that need taking care of. I'm going to get Jo round here to have a look at what I can do - it could just be a case of adding a few roses or shrubs to smarten it up. I have a feeling it could be a complete makeover that's needed....maybe she can sprinkle of a bit of magic on them and maybe....just maybe I could have a bit of a show garden at home by this time next year!
