Well, I've been working toward this moment for a long time. This book grew out of my increasing annoyance with dystopian melodrama and my growing enthusiasm for all the technologies that are rapidly emerging around us.
I'm deeply involved with the arguments about renewable energy, dwindling resources, increasing population and predictions of doom and gloom.
I'm still busy re-writing the book, feverishly trying to complete it before the start of filming on a new series of red Dwarf. There are days when I wake up and realise that I'm wearing too many hats. Thankfully I am very nearly finished with the 5th re-write of the book, and 90% done on recording the audiobook version so it will all be ready in time.
