I know this looks like the only updates are about my knitting but, frankly, that's the only thing I'm responsible for at the moment. However, some decisions have been made: The Book of Bera will have heft. The front cover will be 234mm long and 153mm wide. One of the unique books will be swaddled in pure, undyed Irish linen and then an outer wrapping of the heritage wool, above. Wool was vital to the Vikings and still figures hugely in Iceland and the Faroe Islands, where a 'Killing" type handknitted jumper can cost around £300.
Soon I'll have the copy editor's comments to attend to while Unbound continue to research fonts and cover images (I haven't seen any yet but I'll share them here). We're still on target for a mid-September subscribers' edition. Then in the Spring, a public launch.
