Just finished making the history ‘zine...

...and I feel this is vindication for all of you who were like “we want it to be digital” because... after having put in a ton of colour images and maps and manuscript illustrations, I’ve realized that yes, you were right, it works best as digital because then you can see all those lovely images clearly and easily.

It also turned into a 65-page A5 book, because; lots of images, and I used a fairly large typeface and line spacing so it would be easy to read on tablet as a PDF. And, uh, because I kept adding stuff. (Look, you couldn’t ask me to leave out Henry III’’s elephant! The story of which I actually did not recount in detail, more of a drive-by, because it wasn’t really relevant to The Scottish Boy. But! Here’’s the elephant, as drawn by the monk Matthew Paris:)

So, all this is a long-winded way of saying I’m planning to distribute the history zine as digital-only. If you’re upset not to get a printed version, please let me know by commenting or messaging and I will work something out.
