Illustrations, my second novel, and the halfway point!

Hello, lovely pledgers!

I just wanted to provide an update on the novel's progress. All being well, I should be handing the manuscript over to Unbound sometime in September, and I'm hoping to hit the coveted halfway point sometime in July.

To whet your appetite a little more for 'be guid tae yer mammy', the lovely and talented American artist Elisabeth Graham illustrated its synopsis - and, as I'm sure you'll agree, she did a fantastic job. However, the final cover and contents of the book remain up in the air until it has gone to Unbound.

In addition to this, the first chapter of my second solo novel, 'Cathy, get yer dancin' shoes oan' recently became available to read online. It was published by Glasgow University's literary journal, 'From Glasgow to Saturn', back in early 2017.

Simply scroll to page 69 and you can discover a little about poor wee Cathy O'Kelly's story: https://fromglasgowtosaturn.files.wordpress.com/2019/05/fgts_38.pdf

As ever, a thousand thank yous for your support!

Emma
