Hurray! Baroness Tanni Grey-Thompson backs Game On

As we enter an exciting stage in the progress towards publicatiion of Game On (I'll be revealing the final cover art very soon) I am thrilled to say that book's foreword has been written by the extraordinary Baroness Tanni Grey-Thompson.

One of Britain's greatest Paralympic athletes, Tanni amassed a remarkable medal haul over 16 years and five Paralympic Games with 11 gold, 4 silver and a bronze. In 2005 she became ‘Dame’ Tanni Grey-Thompson for her services to sport, and in March 2010, Tanni was created a life peer and was conferred as Baroness Grey-Thompson.

In 2019 Tanni received the BBC Sports Personality of the Year Lifetime Achievement Award.

Along with her work in the Lords and as Chair of ukactive, Tanni is also patron of many charities including the Duke of Edinburgh Awards scheme, the Wembley Stadium Legacy Trust, President of Sportsleaders UK, a UNICEF Ambassador, Academy member of the Laureus World Sport Academy and a Council member for the Winston Churchill Memorial Trust.

I am so pleased that Tanni has found time to contribute to the book which is now in its final stages of being typeset and proof read.

Exciting times ahead as we move towards publication on September 2.
