I'm still working on the first draft of the sequel, Obsidian. But also the ink sketches are slowly coming together, using the research I did long ago for our debut novel. I gave a talk on Tuesday this week to a local Betaplus group, who were an engaged, intelligent and kind audience. It was about the contemporary author's use of technology, including the writing tool, Scrivener, and of course I detailed the Unbound model, compared to self-publishing. Most importantly, my managing editor supplied me with a full account of the publication process, most of which I didn't know. As soon as the production manager sends my revised 'critical path' to publication, I will update you all.
And the YouTube video? It's not a mistake: I taught myself knitting a week or so ago. Suggestions of what I'm up to on a postcard, please. Otherwise known, in the digital age as 'comments'.
