So here's some new at last pals: I got the copy edits back, have gone through and felt really, really bad for the copy-editor (who found my jokes baffling and my insistence on deliberately splitting infinitives for fun painful), and the edited document has gone back to Unbound looking much nicer. The laser focus of people who can spot that you've spelt a word you made up differently 180 pages apart is ceaselessy amazing.
Agrippina also is now formatted like a proper book, with copyright pages and the like which means we are inching, slowly slowly inching, towards actual publication and I'm pretty sure it's all production decisions like picking a cover and proofreading from here on in.
Not long now until you can read it, you delightful, kind patient people.
