Apologies for not writing sooner. You may have noticed that I’ve been a little busy lately, with a small matter of a general election with a very exciting outcome for the Green Party.
I wanted to email today to specifically highlight an exciting event tomorrow (Tuesday, 9 July) at 11 a.m. UK time, when I’ll be talking about Change Everything with former Australian Greens leader Christine Milne and Tim Hollo from The Green Institute (in Australia). Election campaigning hasn’t stopped the flood of promotional events for Change Everything, with a wide range of audiences, from a wonderful lunchtime crowd at the brilliant indy Sevenoaks Bookshop, to a big group at Waterstones Canterbury, where I got to sign their author’s wall, in some very distinguished company.
I’ll also be in Birmingham Waterstones on Thursday night, at the Womad Festival, and am excitingly lining up events at the Wigtown Festival in September. Watch this space for future events.
The other news is that the first print run has sold out. But don’t worry, there are more books on the way, and all your favourite indy outlets should be able to order more copies VERY soon (hopefully this week). But in the meantime, anyone who’s looking for an ebook can be pointed to the excellent Hive (helping local bookshops – you can choose which one), where Change Everything is available for a bargain £4.19.
