The postman brought this five minutes before the picture was taken and you can see I'm so demented with joy that I'm still in my glasses, with unwashed hair. My dear supporters, there will be other photos but I wanted to share this initial happiness with you - because of course I would not be holding this gorgeous book in my hands were it not for your generosity (and good taste!) I'm signing books, painting curse bowls, drawing maps and wrapping books in Viking linen throughout March and so you should be getting your books etc much sooner than June. If you signed up for a postacrd from Iceland, I'm there 3-7 April and will write and post them then. The Birka bead and thumb ring will arrive will the books - and I'm thrilled to discover that they are following a Viking route and going to America and Canada! Thank you all.
