Dear Friends and Supporters,
The last few months of fundraising have been amazing and tough. I’ve worked so hard to try to get the Not As Nature Intended book funding to where it needs to be to make this project happen for the animals - and for all of you who pledged. The project is now at 63% but pledges are slowing down so this is a call for help, from you. You’ve already been so great to pledge your support via Unbound. I can’t thank you enough, but I also know you are one of the people who has invested - financially and emotionally - in bringing this book to life. So, I wonder if you might be able to help a little more?
There are two ways you can help me push this book up to the next level:
1. Would you consider topping up your existing pledge with a small donation? The Unbound system makes it really easy, and if everyone who has already pledged topped up with an extra £5, $5 or €5 I’d be… well… very nearly fully funded! All you need to do is click on ‘log in’ in the top right hand corner of this page, log in using the details you used to make your pledge and then hit the green ‘Upgrade or Donate’ button that appears next to your pledge, which should be the first thing you see when you log in. You can pick another reward level, or just put in any amount however big or small to ‘top up’ your pledge and help me get closer to 100% funded. I really would be so, so grateful to you if you can spare anything extra to help me reach my target.
2. If you can’t (or could!) top up your pledge, would you consider contacting a friend or family member about this project? I know there are lots more people out there who are passionate about making the world a better place for animals and who would like to be a part of this project, if only they knew about it. If you know anyone that you think would be interested it would be fantastic if you could send them a personal email or message to tell them about the book, why you pledged, and ask them if they’d like to as well. Again, It would mean so much to me to have your support with something like this.
Once again (broken record, I know) thank you for all your support so far. This project is a labour of love, and reliving all of what I’ve seen to tell these stories and get the book funded has been more challenging than I had expected, but your support is helping me through.
