Thank you again for all your support and patience with this project, it’s been a long road, but we are nearly there!
So much has changed in the world since we started this project, we had to pause the project for a while due to personal circumstances and once we were back up and running, the pandemic hit, setting us back again. But the good news is, we’re nearly there and are hoping to have a book in our hands in the coming months!
We’ve taken some time to reflect on the world around us and update our essays to include responses to issues such as the New Zealand terrorist attack, BLM and the impact of the pandemic for some British Muslim women. We’re excited to have created a fresh, varied and honest take on Muslim womanhood for Muslim women and cannot wait to share it with you all! The pieces are uncompromising in our religiosity and frustrations, and our spirituality and shortcomings. May it be accepted from us.
I cannot emphasise how grateful we are to each of you for believing in and sticking with us and we really hope you will enjoy the end result!
