Hello. I have written books, articles and academic papers about Darwin and science for over two decades in my professional capacity. That was when I was an evolutionary biologist, studying and working with goats and gnu, elephants, seals and lions, etc., but it's also almost how long I've been working on this book project which is what I do now, as a full-time writer, when not writing to make a living and contribute to our Edinburgh-based family of four.
