I am one of those poets you get nowadays that write poems. Although I have no formal background or training in the discipline, I have a full and up-to-date poetic license, valid through to the end of December 2016.

I have been sharing my verse on Twitter and Facebook for the last few years with varying degrees of success. I write about the stuff of everyday life, particularly buses and bin days. To paraphrase Wilfred Owen:

I write about Waitrose.
And the pitta of Waitrose.
